Before we discuss the collective, the community, the nation, let us discuss you. You cannot lend a hand if you do not have a hand. Here is our minimum goal for you: self-sustenance. Self-sustenance, as we see it, is the ability for you to have shelter (an apt, house, rent as a start is implied), rich feeding (balanced diet), mobile (shared rides, public transport without much budgeting), monthly savings (used for investments, emergencies: family, medicals, large luxury purchases etc.). In monetary value, self-sustenance is ₦100,000 per month. This is our minimum goal for you (feel free to call it minimum wage). Of course, the monetary value is not static; it could be lower or higher depending on what attains self-sustenance. This “minimum wage” is not a policy decision to be implemented by government or private businesses. It is a the first and minimum goal we will lead you to. Do not be mistaken this is just the foundation of our journey and money/monetary wealth is not the final destination, that will be communal/encompassing wealth and the steps to get there will require you.
With that foundation out of the way, we require something from you: an open mind, willingness to lend a hand and build a nation for the benefit of all.
It is appropriate to discuss the final destination before we discuss the path there. Communal/encompassing wealth in other words is developing our nation to a point of prosperity, peace, happiness, contentment, satisfaction. A point where the majority of our citizens do not believe the only way to live a decent and dignified life is to head out. To clarify further, a prosperous and satisfied nation cannot happen without a prosperous and satisfied you.
